Some actors working alongside Sigourney Weaver might find their job intimidating, but Carla Gugino -- who does just that in USA's "Political Animals" -- found a way to make it work.
Gugino plays a journalist who won a Pulitzer for writing about Weaver's character's ex-husband -- the onetime president -- and the pair develop an unexpected relationship, the actress said Wednesday on TODAY.?
"These women (are) birds of a feather more than they'd like to admit," she said. "But because of their positions they are sort of on opposite sides of the tracks ... it remains equally complicated, but there's kind of an appreciation starts to build that's really unusual and you don't see in film or television very much."
